About ToyScout
ToyScout is a UK site built for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and anyone else standing in a toy aisle (or scrolling one online) wondering what's actually worth buying. We cover everything from LEGO sets and board games to consoles, dolls, outdoor toys and STEM kits, with a focus on honest, practical guidance rather than hype.
We're not toy testing engineers with a lab full of gadgets. We're a small UK publisher researching products carefully, reading manuals, checking specifications, comparing prices, and drawing on real household experience where we can, so that our recommendations stay grounded and realistic rather than inflated.
ToyScout is supported through the Amazon Associates programme and other affiliate schemes. When you click through from our site and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a small commission. This comes at no extra cost to you, and it doesn't affect the price you pay. It simply helps us keep researching, writing and updating our guides.
We aim to be upfront about what we know and don't know, to update articles when products change or go out of stock, and to point out when something isn't worth your money. If you spot an error or have a suggestion, do get in touch via our contact page.
