LEGO reveals 6,130-piece UCS Executor Super Star Destroyer at £649.99
The longest LEGO model ever made goes on sale exclusively via LEGO from 1 October, with early access for Insiders members three days ahead of general release.

LEGO officially unveiled the Executor Super Star Destroyer (75457) on 26 August 2026 — a 6,130-piece Ultimate Collector Series set priced at £649.99 that recreates Darth Vader's flagship from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The model measures 136 cm long, 50 cm wide and 20 cm tall, weighs over 5 kg, and is confirmed by LEGO as the longest official LEGO model ever produced.
It is also the longest LEGO Star Wars brick-built model to date — and, by some margin, one of the most ambitious sets the company has ever put to market.
What's in the box
The headline number is 6,130 pieces, spread across the main ship build, a built-in display stand, an informative plaque, and a detailed minifigure-scale scene of the Executor's bridge. An internal Technic structure supports the highly detailed exterior panelling, and a companion Star Destroyer — built to scale alongside the Executor — comes with a Millennium Falcon represented by a single 1×1 round tile, a neat visual joke about the ship's colossal proportions. A digital building experience is also available via the LEGO Builder app, letting builders zoom, rotate and track progress in 3D.
The set includes seven minifigures: Darth Vader and, for the first time in a single LEGO set, all six bounty hunters — Boba Fett, Dengar (with a refreshed backpack build), Bossk, IG-88 (sporting a brand-new moulded head), 4-LOM, and Zuckuss. The bridge diorama lets builders recreate the moment these characters assemble before Vader aboard the Executor. IG-88's new head sculpt will also appear first in the Star Wars Advent Calendar 2026 (set 76456), due in September.
How and when you can buy it
The set goes on sale exclusively via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores — it will not be stocked by general UK retailers including Amazon, Argos or Smyths, at least initially, with the exclusivity window lasting a minimum of three months.
UK buyers with a free LEGO Insiders account will get early access from 1 October 2026. General release follows on 4 October 2026 — three days later — for everyone else.
Purchases made during the opening window come with a free gift: the LEGO Darth Vader's Lightsaber (set 40897), a 174-piece set available while stocks last. The official LEGO press release cites the GWP window as 1–7 October; some third-party outlets including The Brick Fan quote LEGO's release text as 1–10 October. How it compares to the 2011 original
This is LEGO's second UCS take on the Executor. The original, set 10221, launched on 27 August 2011 at £349.99, contained 3,152 pieces and measured approximately 124.5 cm in length. It included five minifigures — Darth Vader, Admiral Piett, Dengar, Bossk and IG-88 — before retiring in June 2014. Sealed examples now trade on the secondary market well above that original retail price.
The 2026 version is roughly 10 cm longer, contains nearly twice as many pieces, and costs roughly twice as much. Admiral Piett does not appear in the new set. The bounty hunter lineup, by contrast, is now complete for the first time in a single box.
For broader context: in October 2025, LEGO released the 9,023-piece UCS Death Star (75419) at £899.99, demonstrating clear appetite for large-format premium sets. The Executor sits £250 below that, which may make it feel relatively approachable within this corner of the market — though £649.99 is still one of the highest price points for any LEGO set on shelves in 2026.

For collectors who missed the 2011 original — now trading well above its original retail price on the secondary market — this is arguably the definitive version of the model, and the free Darth Vader's Lightsaber GWP adds a time-limited incentive to buy early.
