Building Sets & Construction Toys

Our Take

A mid-range LEGO Harry Potter set recreating the snowy wizarding village of Hogsmeade, including The Three Broomsticks pub and Honeydukes sweet shop. Aimed at fans aged 8 and up, it sits comfortably between starter sets and premium collector pieces, appealing to both active builders and Harry Potter enthusiasts wanting a displayable model.

Key Features

Contains 851 pieces across two detailed modular buildings

Includes 10 minifigures: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Madam Rosmerta, Honeydukes shopkeeper, and others

Features The Three Broomsticks with a removable roof and detailed interior including fireplace and butterbeer mugs

Honeydukes includes shelves stocked with printed sweet-wrapper elements

Snowy exterior detailing on rooftops and cobbled street section connects the two buildings

Compatible with other Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley modular LEGO sets

Our Verdict

A solid buy for Harry Potter fans aged 8–12 who want both a fun build and an ongoing play set, and for collectors who appreciate the minifigure lineup. Those purely after display value may find the Premium Hogwarts Castle sets more satisfying; bargain hunters will baulk at the price-per-brick ratio.

What We Like

Excellent minifigure selection makes it genuinely appealing to collectors
Interior detailing on both buildings rewards the builder rather than just looking good on a shelf
Strong replayability for younger fans using it as a play set after building

Things to Consider

Price point feels steep for the piece count compared with rival building-set brands
Snowscape street section is quite narrow and feels slightly underdeveloped
Modular connection with other sets requires purchasing additional sets to fully appreciate
Some interior furniture pieces use standard bricks rather than dedicated elements, which looks a little basic up close
