Our Take
The Nerf Rival Finisher XV-700 is a pump-action ball blaster aimed at teens and adults who want competitive, team-based foam combat. It fires high-density foam rounds rather than traditional darts, sitting in Nerf's performance-focused Rival range. It's a mid-tier entry point — more affordable than motorised Rival blasters but still capable enough for backyard battles.
Key Features
Fires Nerf Rival high-density foam rounds at approximately 90 fps (feet per second)
Pump-action priming mechanism — no batteries required
Holds a seven-round integrated magazine
Compatible with all standard Nerf Rival rounds
Trigger-lock safety switch to prevent accidental firing
Lightweight, single-handed-friendly design with a compact body
Our Verdict
A decent starter blaster for anyone new to the Rival range, or a lightweight backup option for seasoned players. If you're buying for competitive multi-person battles, the low capacity and slower rate of fire will frustrate — consider a motorised Rival blaster instead.
