Our Take
The Sylvanian Families Grand Hotel is a large, multi-storey dolls' house-style playset designed for children aged three and up. It features a hotel theme complete with lobby, guest rooms, and outdoor areas. Sitting at the premium end of the Sylvanian range, it's aimed at dedicated fans and parents looking for an expansive, imaginative centrepiece rather than an entry-level set.
Key Features
Multi-storey building with several distinct rooms including a reception area, bedroom suites, and a rooftop terrace
Lift mechanism that moves between floors, operated manually by children
Includes over 100 accessories such as furniture, luggage, food items, and decorative pieces
Compatible with standard Sylvanian Families figures, sold separately
Folds out flat for play and closes up for storage and tidying away
Detailed printed décor on interior walls and floors to add atmosphere without painting
Our Verdict
Best suited to committed Sylvanian fans aged four to eight who already own figures and will benefit from a proper hub for their collection. If you're new to the range or budget-conscious, start smaller — this is a rewarding long-term investment rather than an impulse purchase.
