Our Take
A 1,132-piece LEGO Ideas set recreating NASA's Mars Rover Perseverance alongside a scale model of the Ingenuity helicopter drone. Designed for teenagers and adults with an interest in space exploration, it sits at the premium end of the Ideas range — more of a display piece and educational model than a play set.
Key Features
1,132 pieces total across the Perseverance rover and Ingenuity helicopter builds
Articulated rocker-bogie suspension system that moves independently on each side
Rotating and tilting camera mast replicating the rover's actual instrument positioning
Poseable robotic arm with drill attachment at the end
Ingenuity helicopter model with rotor blades that spin
Includes two minifigure astronauts and a brick-built Mars surface display base
Our Verdict
Best suited to space enthusiasts and adult LEGO collectors who want a conversation-starting display model with genuine educational substance. Those after a large showpiece or younger builders wanting something more interactive should look at bigger Technic or Creator Expert alternatives instead.
